It's not allowed to upload reworks of already existing maps to mania-exchange unless you have the permission from the author. You should maybe ask papychampy to update it, he's probably the best choice for the job. :-)

im actually trying new maps such assaulting him with cake and mindcontrol.. they just don't make any sense... i don't understand the reason of this decision.. and please don't say we just need to adapt and study them coz it feels like somebody is slapping me in the face and i need to just get over it..

1. they are way TOO big = they won't gonna be used apart from pole zone + the attacker waste alot of time just gettin to the pole zone but this are things already said over and over in previous map topics so i don't understand why we are making the same mistakes over and over
2. arrow zone like in "mindcontrol" wich is completely far away from everything, so why they is it even there in the first place?

3. in my opinion u wanted to evade static defense ,but in this way first of all now defenders have no safe places at all so i don't see a way to actually make strategies nd stuff.. but keeping that in mind we already found "safe spots " were we can "camp" and play like we always played ..so we are back same as before but instead we have enourmous useless new maps (my personal tought)

4. *edit* also lots of people get massive fps drop in bigger map

5. *edit*2 talking about spectator point of view , a spect wich knows the game gonna get and headache with this new maps , a spectator who don't know the game gonna see alot of walls , alot of wooden things, a bunch of fences , fancy stuff, lights and an attacker goin around the map searching for defender covered behind walls 80% of the round :)

Why the hell after a year of playing do we must put up with the dumbest map lists time and time again.

Imaging Counter-Strike.

10years everybody plays: De_dust2 & Inferno & NUKE.

On the 1000000000€-event we are going to play maps nobody knows & aim_pr0n.
This makes sence?
For escw lets remove LASER too & have 300% more stamina.


How can we practice these maps?
Why did other qualifiers have other maps? How is this fair? Who comes up with these ideas?



PS : Pls dont think im rude when you read this post. This is a perfect example of what you did to SM using a different game to clarify.
If you think my post is weird, then you just are confirming my arguement :)

I need we need a différent mappool every year.
But with good/news maps in it.
I'm sure that there is some really good mappers, we just need to find them.

i don't like flame on forums but i must say something
Yestedray we played the new maps on 3v3, and now i truly fear that the end of SM is near, just after this eswc.

@Papy about your map: how you don't understand that every match will finish having 3 people defending at Pole?
really, is that hard to figure it out?
What should be the skill of an attacker? Jump on pole and hope to cap, whit rockets samming everywhere??
I'm totally speechless. :(

@Bas: dude what i should i say to you? it seem TOTALLY a random mix of blocks, without a real sense.
and was so much boring :cry: !!

C'mon guys, you are destroying the future of SM. :|

2 bas maps, 3 papy maps. Yes Collided is classic and CastleCrasher is my favorite map but some great mapmakers were left out. I think if you 2 got 2 maps each we should have had Starfish and Gouge from the sweedish guy. Though personally I think 1 map per mapmaker would have been nice .

Could you guys maybe just stop posting opinions in here and instead start playing these maps already?

It's too late anyway...

This is no call of duty; you don't get better in this game with insulting and whining about maps. You have to play them! :thumbsup:

IPL5 & 6 were big tourneys and i never read any complaints on the forums about maps or settings.

Can someone tell me why It would be wise to use a different mappack? Maybe Ill understand better :)
