We all know you (Nadeo) sent it over to them, so pretty sure you can change it.
Do what you got to do to re-establish a decent mappool, and do it right

Also.. Since so many of you are complaining I was thinking of maybe trimming down both Mindcontrol and Assaulting, since I have to agree with you they're both quite big.
On mindcontrol
my idea is to remove the general area around the arrowpad, since it's indeed going to be kind of useless.
Also, you have been complaining about the roof around the pole area, and I can see why this would be a bit silly to watch from above while watching a stream. So maybe removing that roof?
And maybe providing a bit more cover for the defenders.
On Assaulting them with cake
Trim down some parts behind the the defender spawn, some other parts on the right and left side. Just generally reducing the size of the map a bit. click here for a screenshot of the areas I'd like to remove. (areas circled red)
What do you think? And if you have any more suggestions to improve both maps, don't hesitate to tell me,I'd love to hear them. (instead of all the hating comments, they're getting a bit depressing and will get you nowhere.)
Assaulting them with cake is mostly too big towards the attacker side IMO. I think with the changes to the latest version's reload times, "camping" becomes that much more important because if you get caught out attackers can easily kill multiple people now, making defenders play even more defensive and nobody is going to risk pushing out that far just to be "assaulted with cake".

Ricochet is the other one that you might as well just send all 3 to the pole and all spew rockets everywhere when the attacker comes in and watch 12 rockets all bounce around for second-third chance hits.
As always, thank you for your time/effort in making maps, whether we like them or not, most of us won't ever bother making a map so they should criticize with respect.
However, whoever is responsible for the ESWC maplist needs to crawl out of the woodwork and accept responsibility and work with competitive players for a REAL maplist. This is huge joke and while a lot of us have been getting together over the last couple weeks testing all sorts of new maps in anticipation of ESWC, we're all scratching our heads at the list that was chosen, seems like somebody just threw darts at a wall of maps and decided not to even bother seeing what teams thought of them.

All the mapmakers should get an EQUAL chance to have their map selected.
So , thanks to mania-actu we have dedicated maptesters that test over 100maps every 3months and it taaaaakes so much time( like your time , making ur map)... After that we make a POLL & the entire community votes.
This is the fairest solution ever.
(also , every person, can help us during the test-phase. All you need to do is contact one of the official maptesters)
So , again , why should this process not be done for the BIGGEST, MOST IMPORTANT EVENT of the year with the most money & best prizes.
This process should be done a loooong time ago, but nobody knew because we all thought that the ESWC maps were going to be the current official mappool. ( which is suuuuuper logical. )
So instead of calling us all little fuckers ( or whatever you said ) you should look at urself! Ur selfish and the only reason u think ur map is good ( and why you are on this forums ) is because u made the map yourself.
Im sick of this decision-making by NADEO or whoever that took the decisions.
