Don't you get that only you and killaprodtm were trying to make the competitive scene play those maps? After 19 pages of people complaining about the maps and trying to find a solution all you have to say is that? Don't even know why such opinions are into consideration.
It's probably beecuz we're nubs and u guyz r pros

Nope I share the same opinion with hylis, jonthekiller, papychampy and gabriel. There are quite some people who are actually disgusted by the behaviour you guys have been showing the last couple days in this thread. Anyways don't bother replying, I won't be looking at this thread anymore. Have fun and good luckwith the eswc qualifiers though. :)

Look Trackmania Stadium, you've many "types" of map, like Dirt, FullSpeed, Tech, Minimap etc ... all in one mode Trackmania Stadium Time Attack.
But in competition, do player play all theses type ? nope, they play only one type of map, Tech (If I'm right) !

So if you want to make your type of map and "help the game" ... go on, I encourage you, jut don't force us, competitive players, to play your type if we don't want to.
Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy,
But here's my rocket, so take it maybe ?

No, you are wrong :) Competitions are played on all kind of maps. Though, the ones with price money are usually tech maps. But this is not discrediting the competition on the other maps (see ESL for fullspeed and tech competitions).

So you want to tell me that you can build Elite fullspeed maps? :gotcha:

Yep, but you got the point !
player are not "force" to play a type of map, if they want to play Fullspeed, this is their choice, not because the map pool say "This map will be a tech, and this one a Fullspeed"
I'm not saying that other type of map (like big, with closed way etc ...) are bad.
just saying before putting them into a mappack like ESWC, maybe test them on a public server ?

Killaprodtm, you are disgusting; simply put. None of your posts were contributing or helping this thread. Just because Hylis and papy "thinks like you" doesn't mean you have to troll the biggest event on shootmania. Please you and basbas stop moaning about Kryw's move to add some maps in the selection. Are you serious ? He might not even care about seeing his name on the tab, this is all it comes down when you are out of argument ? Get out please.

If nadeo and eswc wants a beautiful mappool, and that NONE of the maps are. Then there is a problem with the mapmaking tool and not with the elite play-style only.

You cannot just dismiss all the elite players, telling them right off the bat "you guys play elite the wrong way!!11" and then release some nonsens mappool. It looks like, to me, your move was an ALL-IN into "let's get MAXIMUM SPECTATORS and PLAYERS, despite of the ACTUAL players/fans of elite mode." This is a HUGE slap in the face to anyone who practiced hours and hours to get better. I wont come back on this because now there will be a poll with a wide map selection.

But my point is: you guys in Nadeo have shown a huge hole in the spirit line you want to take about gameplay/game appeal.

So what I would propose as suggestion would be to work on the High-Resolution so it looks like REALLY (and by that I mean whatever you have to make for it) REALLY REALLY APPEALING and BEAUTIFUL so you do not break anything gameplaywise and still get better graphics/views on maps when spectating.

And if the High-Resolution wouldn't work because some wants to be able to play with it without needing NASA computer and still enjoy graphics, then create a mode that would consequently change the aspect of the maps (textures, ground, lightning, bloom, map overview etc) whatever is needed to make it REALLY appealing in spectator mode and bring in a ton of curious players. A mode that would for instance, create some instant laser/rockets all kill slow motion "button" like in some other fps at the end of a round to recap the round.

Tl;dr: A mode that would be only designed for the spectating aspect of the game. Instead of eating on the gameplay and thus on the majority of elite players who tries their ass off to play competitively while they know they will earn not even 1€. It's a HUGE mistake to put everyone in the same bag.
