REQ: Disabling server-sided Maniascript in the client!

I don't want any custom UI or any other functionality pushed down from the server onto my client. I can't be alone with being annoyed with all the custom UI overlays. And if that's not enough, some servers push down audio and video content to me. Some server running TPS had some shitty video game clip playing in a corner. What the hell was that good for? And even when setting music volume to zero, audio content is still downloaded.

And I don't want to disable ALL of the user interface, to get rid of it. It shouldn't be like that.

Therefore I'm asking for a client-side option to disable anything Maniascript from the server, that isn't part of the core game.

and same for environmental mods and car skins..
Anyway mostly i like the custom stuff, but sometimes when one is playing with 3g mobile networking it's annoying to be forced to download custom elements... it slows down the game play experience when pings are high due the bandwidth gets capped.

@Tomservo: You are right of course, but the UI is mostly made of community members and not by Nadeo. Therefore you should adress the authors of the scripts (TPS, Aseco) to built in the possibility to hide every UI window seperately. If some server admins force you to watch for example video clips, audio streams and other things, talk to the server admins or just change the server.

@reaby: This would be really great, if you could select which custom stuff (mods, skins, horns, avatars, etc.) is allowed to be downloaded and uploaded. In the TMF launcher you can only choose to disable all or nothing.
