TrackMania Stadium

- lower/remove the chance of landingbugs
- enable slide-marks for spectator mode
- add option to disable, or at least lower the darkness of shadows.
- add support for multiplayer editor
- implement community news for ingame like in tmnf
- more detailed racing statistics and an easy way to extract these to a data file

I'm not quite sure where Nadeo wants to go with TrackMania in terms of professional competitions/E-sport, but what makes dota2 and lol so successful in E-sport? I think the attention and support around pro gamers in terms of player/team profiles, the built in support for sponsorstickers, team logos etc. A database consisting of game tutorials, how to pick up the game and become a pro driver and the fact that they have such a comprehensive spectator mode that enables everyone to learn how the pro players do it.

In addition to the slide-marks in spectator mode, which enables new players to follow up on whats actually happening (same for casters), maybe add the possibility to see the driving inputs of the player you are spectating? If you can see real-time player inputs (throttle, break, turn) you can also examine if they do a mistake or a very good turn and also find out breaking-points, throttle points and optimal racing lines in general. I think there is a lot of undiscovered pontential in the TrackMania spectator mode that could make it such a more pleasant and interesting experience to watch.

  • NO Achievements to motivate players to play competetive and keep Maniaplanet a place for skill based gaming.
Because achievements reward playing a lot and not playing good or having fun.
There is never an achievement for having fun! How can they not suck?

  • Don't Force podium-block for map validation[/size]
Because forcing people doing stuff is bullshit.
Podium has no practical use in gameplay and I refuse using it on my maps. Thanks for reading...

- A refresh button

Explanation : I would like that when we press F5 example (anywhere if possible, else at least in menu), it reload the content from our personnal folder. This would really help me (and others I hope) when I'm in "creation" mode -> when creating blocks, skins, etc. This would be really much faster than leaving game then re-entering it just to look if my little change is correct (or to switch of title then return back in the first where I were).
------------------------------------------------------------

Some forms of "destructible wooden barriers" for Valley could offer some interesting tactics and also some interesting effects. Would look great in some intro's and outro's as well as in game.. Don't know how this would apply for multi-player but should work for solo mode though ..
