'Central Business District' custom map (with commentary)

Post by maurorobert »

Hello everybody!

I'm fairly new to Shootmania, just bought the game recently. Before that I played the beta for a few weeks but I have played a lot of Trackmania in the past. So I'm working on my first map now, here's how it looks atm :D

The commentary is mostly directed towards my subscribers but you can still look at the map

So what do you guys think does it look playable? :pil

Thanks :)

Does the amount of coppers really matter to server admins? I mean the framerate is just fine I just went way beyond the 15000. (about 34000 atm)

The map looks awesome! I wonder how well it plays though (gameplay-wise).

Regarding copper count:

Higher copper count usually means longer loading times. It can affect fps too, though that depends on each player and if they have decent hardware of course.

Also, keep in mind 1MB is the max filesize for online maps. I'm sure you're probably nowhere near that, but it's something to be aware of.

I don't know what server admins consider to be too big though. :)

Thanks you! No way to find out until the map is played :P

I have no idea what my map size is, thanks for pointing that out to me!

I've got an old hd5770. I'm sure if my card can run the map most other computers will be able to as well.
