Looking at your renders they dont really look high quality. I use 196 antialiasing and 196 DoF samples.
Plus imgur may destroy a lot the quality, i use dropbox.

I just had an (censored) experience with the render. MP does not render in greater than 1080, it just stretches the image. Also I dont know anyone who has a pc screen greater than 1080 anyways.. so whats the point..

For new tablets with 2560x something? For the new 4K displays?
I have 1920x1200 already since long time

Did you see the hint in the entering post?

If you don't know how to render photos on higher than your native resorolution.
• Set your game to windowed mode
• Click the (BMP) Icon in media tracker and set the resolution
• Set your render settings

Click ok and wait, depends on how powerfull your pc, mine take 6 minutes depending on complexity.
