Rally day concept
Trackmania 2 Valley offers a great new racing style to do: Rally racing. It is useable for creating a simulational racing concept even beyond the TM features. Lets see what the key words are:
Rally day
A Rally day is a series of maps. Each Rally day is usually linked to a remarkable location/theme of the series of tracks. The first map starts the Rally day with morning mood, and the last map ends with sunset. We call each map a Stage.
Is this full offroad???
No. Though it defines the main enviroment of each map. A Rally track offers you offroads, forests, roads, hills, placed in a beautiful environment and keeping Rally racing between real circumstances (no unreal elements like boosters, stunts, smooth transitions, riding on rooftops etc). The maps are not short: they keep a normal rally distance as more than 1,5 mins in average. This is also a key feature to have a closer feeling to rally simulation.
What is a match?
A match is to drive a Rally day once or multiple times and to gain the best time of a specific rally. The players (2-unlimited) are playing each Stage once in Rounds mode. When they finished all stages of a Rally day, the player with the better overall time wins the Rally.
Where can I play this mode?
We can offer this mode to play on Nightcups, where everyone plays simultaneously. Two players can play Rally on a ladder or ESL series. Or, like in this Autumn Rally Cup, groups can play.
Schedule
Groupstage: gathering people to play together on a few matchdays. The best positioned ones will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs: the best racers will be placed again into two groups, and in a Single Elimination modus, all the best racers go into the Grand Final.
Disclaimer: the tournament will end in the early December. This deadline will rule how the matchdates/groups will look like.

Rally mode tryout
Before we go live with the Autumn Cup, we will organize Rally nightcups so you can see how to race in ESL Rally mode.
Mappack
