[Pending][not a bug] Manialink addres bar can't be closed

Hey, I was just wondering if this happens only to me or if other people have the same problem.

If I click a news or a link inside maniaplanet that opens a manialink, I'm stuck with the dropdown menu (see the picture) and can't close it. It stays always on top, independent of what I'm doing (just clicking through the menus, not playing or editing anything). Only way to get rid of it is to restart maniaplanet.

The title bar you mean? It is always there, usually with ... instead of any link.
Once you go the home, it displays home, or any ManiaLink you have selected.
It is always there unless you really start a game, only then it fades out.

In the titles screen it looks like it is not there because the top of the sky is black as well,
but it is also there definitely:



Therefore I don't think it is a bug to have the bar always there.

The thing you're right about is the display of the ManiaLink itself, which might not always match to the displayed page.

Ah, I never noticed the bar being there all the time because of the black back ground and I usually go through all of the menus as fast as possible to get into playing the game.

Now that you point it out it seems to be a little bit stupid on my side to have never noticed that its there always -_-

Its not stupid at all, it is rather interesting to have noticed it

Btw. you can start directly the game you like, without need of the logon and titles screen.
Just add the title and your profile (attention! Windows login is the usual profile file name! Just check what you have in ManiaPlanet\Config folder for files), and if you want, also a configuration, to a shortcut to ManiaPlanet.exe:
YourGamesDrive:\YourGamesfolder\ManiaPlanet\ManiaPlanet.exe /config=YourConfig /profile=YourProfile /title=TMValley

Funny thing, then the menu bar always fades out correctly (in the Valley title screen, started by direct link).

Valid titles are: TMCanyon, TMStadium, TMValley, SMStorm
About Elite, Heroes etc. I did not find it at the moment.
