If you have the rights to the song and send it with the application, it should be ok. I havent read the rules, but this is how copyright works
Youtube doesn't know if you have rights to the song or not, so if you do have you can send them a dispute to remove the claim. If you don't have rights you cant apply for this contest..

A change has been made. ALL ENTRIES ARE NOW BEING CONSIDERED AND NOT JUST THE FIRST 60.

We have also expanded the regions to represent the countries in TM & TM2:

Very good news for the people who wanted to take part, whther its more or less than 60, they can now build at a sensible speed to give full time and thought to their entry.

Still no good, the most obvious change that you should make is to allow at least all TM2 environments (not to mention you should allow all TM environments).

And there I was, rushing last night to get my entry entered... Oh well, thankfully I had enough time to devote to it. (Although not the resources, judging by the superior efforts of the rest of you)

Question for videos:

1) Are we allowed to use music from the older Trackmania games?
2) Are we allowed to use custom skins?
3) Are we allowed to use custom mods?

Videos may only use music from the TrackMania OST (Original Sound Track), or from any open source project. Copyrighted music may not be used without the express consent of the copyright holder.

And the only requirements for videos is that it is all Trackmania 2 footage (in-game, or official trailers). So yes, custom skins and mods are allowed.

Can I use the musics you guys used on the trailers? And btw, which is the last day to send a video?

Certainly Nadeo has done everything necessary to have licensed music in their trailers,
and since we're not leaving the context of TrackMania, you can use it, I would say.
But please be careful with trailers done by the community, as it is often not the case there, unfortunately.
