[TM2] CONNECTION You are not online

So I recently bought TM2 Canyon on steam and when i run the game maniaplanet opens up and i get this error
When i click stay offline I cant another error saying "The title isn't playable.
I tried turning off the firewall but it's still not working.
Can you help me out please? It really pisses me off that I paid for a game I can't play..

1. make sure that the Internet Explorer is not offline even if you are not using IE.

2. Check if you're not using applications which might block the main ManiaPlanet ports, like Mumble, Skype, TeamSpeak and others.
First start ManiaPlanet, and after please start chat application.

3. Reduce the bandwidth available to ManiaPlanet in the advanced network configuration (look at this wiki article), and also check that the other applications are not taking too much of the bandwidth.

I can't seem to find the work offline option in IE. I tried this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257693 but nothing changed. Also how do i reduce the bandwith? Im a newbie at this and there's nothing about bandwith in that article.

Ok problem's fixed.It was because of AVG. I'm installing a new antivirus
