Hi,
I'd like to share my view on this.
When someone first told me that they thought flamez was cheating, I think it was after we played them in an ESL game, I was thinking: "Come on, this is shootmania, everyone can have a good day when they hit everything". I'm sure any active gamer has been accused of cheating at some point after being on fire, especially on public servers. I thought it was bullshit.
I went back and watched the stream. Some shots were really crazy, but not impossible, so I didn’t think much of it.
The turning point came when I watched the next stream of them playing. I notice some interesting patterns in his playing style. It almost always started out with him running around shooting "random shots" at the enemies without hitting anyone. At the same time maybe running into 1 or 2 rockets. Then suddenly, when time was running out and people starting to rotate, he starts to hit. Many times 3 shots - 3 kills. And these shots were not always kills when the defenders were running out in the open. Sometimes you almost didn't even have time to see the defender before he was killed. Now I got really suspicious. Can he have a cheat that he can turn on and off when he wants to?
You have to look at the bigger picture here. How does the player move and how does he shoot?
If you watch really good players play, they often have really nice movements and can predict where the opponents are. You can see these players do really sick prediction shoots on enemies you can’t even see. These kinds of shots are very hard and a good player might hit 1 in 5 of these kinds of shoots if he is on fire. But if you look at these players playing style, you have too see them play like that and go for these types of shots. You always see them miss more shots than they hit.
I continued watching flamez and his team on streams when they played. The patterns continued to be the same. Running around random at start and then when time was running out, 3 shoots - 3 kills. And many of the shots where crazy prefire shots, shots you have seen other "good players" done before. But where were the prefires that he misses? Why did he hit 100% of prefires? It didn't make any sense.
From that point I watched all the streams I could from where Druckwelle played. And I got more and more convinced that he was cheating for every stream I watched. I have to admit I got a little sad when he got banned, cause it was almost more fun watching Druckwelle stream than play myself

In the end, after watching like 20+ games you could see the patters so clear that you could almost pinpoint the exact movements when he turns the cheats on and off.
Even though he was cheating, he can still loose the rounds. He couldn't hit the opponents if they were hiding. And since he many times got hit by early rockets he had only 1 or 2 armor when he got close. And since the laser got reload time he can’t kill all 3 defenders at the same time, you got a little time to spam rockets at him. We had a different defense strategy when we played against flamez. We would try to get a map with lots of stuff around the pole and all hide around there until he got close. And then just try to rush him at the same time. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. It was better than letting him pick us off one by one. And since the game is 3v3, it was possible to win against Druckwelle even if Flamez got all his attack rounds. As long as you got alot of attacks yourself and avoid losing against the other two in their team.
Now I am so convinced that he is cheating that I could bet anything on it. It's really really obvious. I am glad ESL staff and the players that analyzed this took the time and got this guy banned. Thanks guys for the good work.
I'm writing this to the people that are trying to defend him and not to Flamez himself. I see no point getting into a "you-are-cheating-im-not-cheating"-discussion with him. He doesn't deserve any attention.
