Stadium driver's head movement

Post by Recon7777 »

Just sort of curious - why does the driver appear of the Stadium car appear to be asleep (or dead)? His head bobs around lifelessly with the g-forces of each turn. Surely someone in Q/A should have noticed this?

I think it's good and better than being 'stiff'. I can't really see the point of it doing anything else really

wouldn't it make more sense if the head would tilt in direction of the turn?
so that the driver would work against the g-forces…
imagine a go-kart driver

    Apparently yes.

BUT! Crashes look way funnier when his neck seems to be broken. ;D

Well, in the end it's an arcade racer...

As for the head leaning in / out of the turn, when racing drivers get tired they will rest their head like the Stadium guy does. You can sometimes see it in F1 on some of the tougher tracks... I guess the Stadium guy does a lot of racing with little time off ;)

Why is there a driver in the Stadium car but not Canyon or Valley?

You mean the Stadium-Driver isn't a driver but a puppet?
Knocking its head like an Elvis Presley Bobble Head. :D
