Some considerations and stats

Post by viperozza »

I'm not actively playing SM anymore due to the lack of competitions, teams, players in general and game bugs and NADEO nonsense decisions but I loved the game and I used to play it for hours.

I know people love stats and so do I. This morning at work I was practicing some javascript and I decided to make a fast batch program able to catch some informations from websites and put them in files (excel in this case).

This is what I found out about the SHOOTMANIA partecipation numbers on the esl GO4sm tournament program.

We (or at least me) already know this, but I'm not sure someone did some graphs about it.
This is how SM is going, decrasing in less than a year.

Just for informations, I also collected some data about other games.

SC2

WOT

CSGO

And as last I created a allinone chart so that u can see the real numbers comparison

Dunno if this is going to be in someway useful, but I just wanted to share.

Sry for the annoying url click but this forum only allowes 800px images (meh).

well,
There is no way around it with these obvious numbers. Shootmania is struggling even after/before ESWC & the PS4/demo.

On the other hand im still hopeful to the future. I just hope NADEO understands that their next update really has to be really good. If its just an average update I bet again people will leave. This "promised good update" is what keeps players around.

( at least thats what I heard some of my friends and public players say )

Ty for the information  . A lesson can certainly be learnt from these graphs, but then again , we all allreay knew this.
The neverending waiting game has to stop.
