Purchased game problem

I had orginally downloaded the free version of TM2. I later purchased the paid version of Stadium
I installed it. But it seens to be the same the free version. I was not asked for 'keys' or anything.

I confused!
Do I have to 'activate' the paid version somehow?

I think you need to go in Profile>Enter key, and write there key you got when you purchased stadium.

both will work if you have purchased the key on Gamesplanet or Metaboli.

But if you have purchased it in Steam, please install the game in Steam, and use your existing ManiaPlanet account at first and then the key should be activated for this account.

I attempted this (I think), and entered the key I was sent when I downloaded the free
version of the game. And the reply I received was "Key not accepted''. Hmmm.

Where is the Profile>Enter key on the website... or in the game screens someplace.

So, I still have the issue... the game does not know I now have a purchased edition.

where did you purchase the key?
And also be careful when entering it. Letters must all be CAPITALS. And also avoid copying blanks that could be added by inadvertance when you mark the whole key.

I purchased it direct from Media Planet.

When I attempt to enter a key value all that results is an 'invalid key' message.

If I attempt to get a NEW key it says the 'Player Key' is invalid!

I'm very close to asking for my money back!

Media Planet is not a valid seller. Was it www.maniaplanet.com?

The Player Key (also known as CD-Key, Multiplayer Key) has the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX and it has to be entered as it is without blanks or other special characters.

Please do not mix up with the validation code.
The Validation Code you certainly have received in a separate mail has the format YYYYY, and this has to be used for ingame purchases like for skins, mods, packs, and also to have own ladder servers.

Of course, if you are entering again the key from the demo version, this key is already void, and cannot be used anymore.

I never received such a code for the Player Key you indicated!

You should have
1. seen a page with the code after the purchase validation
2. received a mail with the code

Please check your antispam folder on your e-mail hoster's website.

Depending on the payment method, it might take a few days to validate,
so the key will be sent to you a bit later (might take a few days, up to 1 or 2 weeks).

Was the money taken from your bank account successfully and not returned in between?

1. sales support of the website you have used (http://www.maniaplanet.com redirects to a localized page, and the support indicated there might vary, depending on your country).
