I think the ranking system i proposed on page 1 would solve your concerns.
even the Y axis not being fixed.. do you intend to remove the y axis completely or why couldn't that have been sorted in a heartbeat?
I really hope they don't remove Y axis completely; my vertical game is better than most because I have it at 1.3!
Such a simple fix would be to default it at aleast 1.0..
still no concrete answer why a super nadeo employee doesn't take control of the situation, change the value, and click the 'send to all clients' button. It'd help newcomers so much!

And if Nadeo feel this is an opinion based comment, due to my lack of game development experience - that's totally cool!
Just saying I think the community would appreciate a "No, but here's why", rather than a "No, and you wouldn't understand".

you should know that when you have LPs removed, it's the same for others, in proportion in their area of ranking. So, you are not losing, but we are just adjusting to avoid that the number of LP does not go to infinite number.

Now, there are two issues:
1. players should be better informed (on the way)
2. tags of number of time you crossed the 100K limit would be cool for achievements, for example.

The LP normalisation is made on weekly basis, on Monday morning, for your info. But if you win 100 LPs the day before, or after, it's nearly the same.

We have to improve, but we are doing it ;)

One time I lost a match and I think i lost LP too..
Just wondering what was wrong with that system; why did you remove it? I thought it was great.
