TM2 Valley for PS4 - pretty pleeeease?

Post by nitrub »

Any chance of that happening? Would be hella popular imo

Or any TM for that matter. If not current games then upcoming TM titles should definitely hit consoles too!

It's true that it can be possible to have a same multiplayer plateform because of the players using PS or Xbox gamepads.

The Wii version was not done by Nadeo.
And any console port might only happen if work is very less for Nadeo, e.g. it is running Windows on Intel (or compatible) CPU and has nVidia (or similar) video chipset with DirectX9.

Although Mr. Guillemot (Head of Ubisoft) had announced more activities for consoles during the 10 years TrackMania event, there was no word that this was intended for ManiaPlanet, I think he was rather speaking of Ubisoft games in general, and more specially of E-Sports.

Yes Marc ... I did know this was the case ... Nadeo would have done a lot better job of 'porting' the game. The game is missing some of the great stuff that the PC version has like ManiaPark cars, PaintShop and Chat. I can't think why they put the 'Respawn' on the 'A' button .. so very close to the 'D-Pad' that is used to steer the car. Have only ever seen one person online (called Noe) but couldn't chat.
I know if TM2 was ported to another console (PS3/4? Xbox? ) it would still be missing some of the great stuff but I think it would certainly work better. Maybe sometime in the unforseen future eh :)

Trackmania on consoles is a pretty good idea and will make the franchise even more popular, but it's gonna be a nightmare building a track with the controller.. Maybe when all of the TM environments will be released, they could be ported to PS4, XONE, PS3, X360..

And the entire Bay environment. When the advertisements for the game say that it's "the complete Trackmania experience", people expect that not to be a lie. And that can certainly hurt the game once it reaches store shelves.

track editor not that important :D , let PC players do the hard work and console players enjoy the fruits.

altough I don't think it would be that hard to include track editor to consoles tbh
