His replays have been discussed in this thread already, personally I think it's cheated because you cannot press the brake multiple times in a turn at such high speed like in C02's or A02's last turn without sliding. Unfortunately we cannot prove whether he cheats or not, but also his Dedimania replays cannot be validated in-game which is another aspect in favor of his cheating behaviour.

There's a time when cheat protection systems fail. Sometimes VAC doesn't work. Sometimes Punkbuster fails to detect a hack. Replay validation is not always going to be 100%. In fact I've had replays fail validation that I know were valid from other players. This is when having good admins is necessary. I tend to share the opinion that Riolu and Serujio have voiced, in that what Cordanis is doing is not possible without some form of third party software. Cordanis has primarly replied childishly, cussing and calling others noobs. Personal character does not indicate guilt but it sure doesn't bode well afaic.

The most elegant solution is what Serujio suggested, to update Valley so that from an engine perspective this is strictly no longer possible. Meaning, that over a particular speed threshold braking will result in a drift, regardless of the interval it is held. Then after patching, simply delete the suspect replays and/or any replays where this is used, of which there are only a few, perhaps all of them solely from the player in question.

I would like to hear if Nadeo has incorporated this as intended design.

Point being, unless I saw Cordanis at a lan, playing in real life, or via stream with a webcam, showing all programs running on his computer, then I'm pretty much sold on this being a cheat.

And if I'm proven wrong, then I'll admit I'm wrong. I'm not perfect that's for damn sure, but I am one to speak up and not ignore things hoping they go away. This is also why I appreciate the persons that do report cheaters in this thread and the mostly timely responses of Nadeo in deleting the records.

I totally agree with you. The brake in Valley needs to be nerfed in a way it cannot be abused so badly anymore (or it should be possible for everyone to use that trick - instead of only a couple of people with special keyboards or third party software). It starts to bother me even more now, since some particular people now start to use this tricks on many maps (to name some maps, A02, A07, A15, B09, B13, C02) where you just cannot keep up with the regular way of taking that specific turn, even if you manage to do that brake trick once or twice.
Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that Nadeo alters the game's physics after it has been released since just a very small adjustment surely has a huge impact on the gameplay.
Anyways, I'm now trying to find a solution to do these short brakes (in a legit way ofc) because I'm sure noone except very few players care about this issue at all. Tried to use my phone as a touchpad, but it didn't work at all :p

Hello, Nadeo.
There is a cheater in Solo Mode in Ukrainian zone. He suddenly appeared and reached top on almost all maps. At first i thought that it's someone who changed zone, but then i checked his official replay and according to it he was slower than other guys. Can you check him? His nickname is emp1k

Emp1k cheated on all challenges of the TM² Canyon campaign and also on some TM² Stadium challenges. His account has been banned.
Thanks again for your report ;)
