But you can just change the mood while holding shift, when you load the track. Then you have the same at night for example. I really see no problem there...

Ghosts and every other MT element remain as they are when changing mods and moods.

nevertheless it would be better to be able to change mood inside the editor as well as the mods. i know it is possible but this is even better...

It would let people like me who had no idea you could already change the mod and mood of a track know that you can do it.

I agree with the original poster.
The current way to change moods is not good, it looks like an afterthought (no time to make a proper UI, scrap it) or a feature that's purposely hidden.
Having the feature inside the editor in the map properties options with a proper button labelled "change mood" would be infinitely better.
