[TM²] High fps but...not smooth at all

Hey there!

Well, I've been searching similar problems in the whole section but found nothing interesting :/

When I press ')' to display the framerate ingame, mine is always in the range 60-80, so it's very fluid at first sight. The problem is that in fact, driving is quite uncomfortable : it's kinda laggy, jerky, chopped you know....exactly as if I play with 25-30 fps!

I tried a couple of things but now it's beyond my knowledge. I'm convinced it comes from my graphics board (maybe from the ATI CCC settings, dunno).

Here are my spec:
- Intel Quad Core
- 4GB of RAM
- Windows 7 32 bits
- Sapphire HD5850 Xtreme

turn vsync on after that it should be smooth
