Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
Yeah, but I would prefer to Nadeo have a big administration section of the countries in the world. Then no-one would have to type his city, town, township or other name, cause there's always a probability, that someone could've type his city wrong and then there is no connection with players playing in your own town/city. But the last example you've said isn't quite bad.

You ask about ManiaZones? I'm not sure if this is still in the works or not. But in June 2010...

For maniaplanet, there is this place for the moment. We are designing something we call Agora here in the perspective to make some sort of maniazones forum but in a special way. It would be less efficient than the forums before but maybe more powerful on the long run.

Agora would still be our big answer to maniazones, but for the moment, we are working on other things. This is the kind of feature I would like to already have, no question about this, but it so big that I need to be carefull about starting it.

Alright, so we are going to wait for that until you will make it. At least you've been honest to us. Fresh news are always good for the ManiaPlanet community.

I loved Trackmania, but I haven't played it in over a year. For some reason, I just remembered about it today, and I found this site with all three "manias". Cannot wait! Looks like ManiaScript will be my main programming language to focus on when they come out.
Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
I just saw the discussion about the stunt mode a few pages before.
I can tell you that stunt is about 0% luck. If you are a good stunter you never rely on luck because you cannot win with that tactic.
The only maps you really can call "luck maps" are those where you can't see where you go.
And to prove that: Show me any stunt-map and try to beat me. You won't...
But what I really want to know is:
Will there be a stunt-mode in TM2?

Maybe with ManiaScript you could create it, or create other modesDiTThO wrote:But what I really want to know is:

Or will be added later with an update.

Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
If maniascript is as versatile as everyone says it is, then it should be no issue for the more skilled programmers among the community to create entirely new gamemodes...
