Not sure how I feel about this.... On one hand I want this to be fixed because this is just ridiculous, but I also don't want to sacrifice all PF maps/canyon car physics just for this silly little thing. I hope it is possible to fix this problem without actually changing physics, because I think that would be the best solution

It sounds like Nadeo's just planning to put an outright cap on the top speed when driving reverse... so it shouldn't affect the physics of driving forward at all. PF maps should be unaffected by this fix (although Hylis said something about something else that's being done for the update affecting the physics slightly... so I'm really not sure what'll happen).

I tried doing this on Valley A05. It's impossible, you keep skidding out of control.

marius uses an external program to make stick sensitivity as low as possible I believe.

It was possible to get DXTweak2 from the wingman page, but that one seems to be shut down. If you should find it somewhere online (e.g. here, don't trust me with this link, I just googled it and you should do a virus check before starting it) and just play a little bit with it. Example for applications
I used to play with it a little bit in TMU for rally driving with my momo, as this one had a real big dead-zone problem and it was to stupid for me to turn it like 90° for a left/right turn if 20-45° is also completely perfect and allows faster reaction times on techy tracks.
