Actually we haven't known more than previously. However, the funny text was about US players:

9:09 - They give TM2 20 seconds (certainly not an interview...)
It looks like they're just re-announcing the closed beta, but I don't know German, so I don't know what else was said.
What did they say there? Anything new?

I really hope advertising will pick up here in the USA for TrackMania... I thought that was part of the reason NADEO decided to join the ranks of Ubisoft...?

I hope so. I would -love- to see more Americans become Trackmaniacks. As it is, in Iowa, I think there's only like 5000 registrations. Hell, that's not even the population of my city!
