How to turn off/disable spectators from watching you in TM2(canyon)?

Not possible. Never has and probably never will. (Maybe with server plugins, but I don't know about such one).
Though I would love it.

this way you won't be able to prove when there's a cheater on the server, so I'm glad there's no such function.

I dont mind usualy but sometimes it is anoying. I noticed little icon next to a player nickname and that players you cant watch(spectate) while they driving

this icon marks offline players, you can't spectate them because they aren't on the server anymore

hmmm... interesting . Im not sure but i think that player was actually playing(making lap times etc)

Was.....no longer there cause they're offline, go through the chat or log onto player.maniaplanet.etc to see who are actually active on the server. I prefer it, it's faster than looking through the maniaplanet browser.
