So I posted this complaint to the Trackmania section of Ubi's support, considering they do not yet have a TM2 section:
Excuse me, but what's the deal about getting the short shrift, Ubi? Do -not- go the way of EA and the promise X, but give us Y if we're lucky, and more likely nothing at all. Trackmania 2 is going to be the best racing game on the market, and you are lucky to have them under your wing. Treat them right. I hope this mysterious disappearance of the promised interview is not a sign of things to come, Ubi. If it is, you'll soon find your revenue disappearing as checks get addressed directly to Florent, not to you. We, as gamers, want to support you. But you have to then, do the only logical thing and support us back.
Expecting to get some sort of response, I was hopeful. The response was quick--less than 24h turnaround time. However, this was the response:

No mention of TM2, the interview, or anything. Just robomail. :x If Ubi reads this, they have just lost my money. I am supporting TM2, but if it is at -all- possible, I'm making my check directly payable to Florent and hoping he sends me Canyon. Ubi isn't getting one red cent of my money.

+1

Maybe we'll start seeing some better media coverage in the USA after E3 as well...? Here's to hoping!
Thanks for the update, Alinoa!

Yeah of course we get some new infos at E3. And I am happy about that :D

But the fact, that ubi promised an interview in the new ubi-TV episode and they just show 20sec of the trailer and gave us infos we already knew. I am disappointed about that. It has nothing to do with E3 or other stuff. It is just a bad feeling, if someone promises something, but it turns out not to become true. Then better promise nothing and show anything. So we cannot get disappointed ;)

thats exactly what I think, too. Alinoa it's not about the new news at Expo. It's about the promised interview which is not shown in the episode. Ubisoft promised it and they didn't hold it

Ubisoft destroys so many good games... and now I hope they don't destroy Trackmania 2

just look at Rayman 3, it's one of the best adventures games and now look at this Raving Rabbid disco stuff...

support of Ubisoft sucks, no personal answer just automatic. Promised things are not shown... I don't like that.

I feel crappy what Ubisoft is doing... that has nothing to do with e3 expo or gamescom...

I don't think, they are destroying the game, as Nadeo is creating it and not ubi. Nadeo has enough freedom in the development of the MP-games.
Ubi is only making these empty promises about interviews and extra informations. This does not destroy the game, but disappoint us much. :(

No personal answers are common in the scene. The big companies are opting for a big gain of money and as computers are cheaper, than a personal support, they are just using computers. It's a common way, but not a good one :?

that's why I love small companies like Nadeo, which have a good support^^

I got an answer from ubisoft :

Leider können wir euch diesen Monat noch nicht mit dem Trackmania Interview erfreuen.
Es tut uns schrecklich leid, aber leider läuft nicht immer alles nach Plan und Termine verschieben sich.
Das Interview ist aber nur aufgeschoben, nicht aufgehoben!
Sobald wir wissen in welcher Folge von Ubisoft-TV das Trackmania Interview kommt, geben wir euch natürlich Bescheid.
