So as for "removing the limitations to the map editor," which I'm guessing means that we can mix blocks together, I'm not entirely sure how one does this. Can someone give me an explanation?
edit: nvm, found it; you have to open up the finalizing options and then click on "unlock experimental features."
edit edit: it seems there are some issues with mixmapping; if you place blocks together that usually "snap" (like, yellow street to other connecting street blocks), they will not snap. This is fine if you are working above ground since you can just place the blocks normally and then mix later, but if you are building underground this becomes a problem.
I also noticed that you cannot mixmap with macroblocks; this is also sort of troublesome.
It seems you cannot also "go behond the limits" with blocks that paint in lines, such as street blocks and those tube blocks in Stadium. Specifically, say I want to place a line of street blocks onto a raised mass of dirt land in Stadium, I cannot do this since the line stops when I reach the ledge of the upraised dirt.
edit edit edit: Also, I found something interesting; normally, when you place blocks they default to their type based on how you place them (ex, if select a block in the menu and then have the cursor on the ground it will be a different block than it would if you had it floating in the air), which can raise problems when mixing certain blocks (for example, a trench to ground piece and a similarly curved road block). There is a workaround however; when a block is placed in the world, it doesn't matter how, if you ctrl-select it while using the mixmapping tool, it will select that block, and you can place it however you want. For example, if you select a half pipe piece on the ground in Stadium, you can place that wherever you want!
It also seems its not possible to mixmap things like the inflatables in Stadium at the moment.

I don't like how in TM2 the map name, author's name and flag have gone from the top right of the screen. Clicking there used to be a really easy way to find out the medal times for a track and with lots of title packs that don't have ghosts it was the only way to find them out.

It ws mainly hidden to allow the server controllers more room and nearly totaly control of the display

I like that there was an update, the new main menu and the enhanced chat. I don't like the new old menu in the titles, because the old (MP2) one was in SM more beautifull and it took less loading time because there where still the clouds in the background and it hadn't to load a map. The Manialink designer is cool and the action maker / item creator are propably cool for the few players who make title packs, too.
I never liked blockmixing.
The teleports are definitely not self-explaining. I don't know what you can do, maybe an overlay where you mark the teleport-blocks which you can use while you are standing on the other one, a bit like the mark from the arrow-weapon.
I will post some other suggestions in my suggestions-thread soon (link in signature).
And I hope it doesn't take 10 months until you fix some of the things said.

xxluke, if you wish fast access, use the overlay 'multiplayer' button browser + the home button in the system bar to get back to the main menu from anywhere without leaving your current activity. Hope it helps. in-title browser was less strategic because of this.

Yes, I already read this. But sometimes you still have to open the title e.g. when you want to build a map or get upset about the menu.

...after the update (MP, Stadium) i've played a map in solo-mode, but it's not possible now to save a replay. after pressing the 'replay-save' button, nothing happens. all the buttons disappaer, the screen remains

Buddies rankings are useless on quick overlay, it's my quick opinion.
