can`t update

Hi !

my program ManiaPlanet does not work
when I start the program asks me to accept an upgrade. I accept the update and after 1 minute I get a window with error 12002
Wthat can I do? the firewall is disabled, also the antivirus, firewall, modem / router too.
I don't know what more to do ?

are you using a wifi connection? Try to use a cable...
12002 is a timeout. Either your firewall or antivirus is still blocking ManiaPlanet, or you have another issue here...

I have cable conection direct to modem.
my conection speed is 6MB/s

ports 80 and 443 are open

hosts archive are empty

i don't know what more look ...

are another way to update the game, for example a direct download ?

The usual setup.exe files have not yet been updated unfortunately.
Did you try disabling the antivirus temporarily?
And please also check very carefully the firewall, it might still have blocked ManiaPlanet.

As usual the in-game updater doesn't work for me. Firewall, antivir etc... disabled. I'm on a mobile connection and have no chance to switch to cable. I'm pretty sure, that the problem is related to my connection, as the in-game updates work well with some friends mobile internet. Just can't download several mb/gb as we're all on limited bandwith.

This means, that updated setup.exes on the playerpage are vital for me to play MP. Guess, Nadeo is waiting to include the final updates in the exes?

Sorry, I don't know yet. I guess it might even not be there until the universal demo is released in june.
Don't you have any possibilty to reach a cable based connection or a place that has fast wifi?

Nope, sadly not.

Try to use "low resolution textures" (disable "High resolution" in the ManiaPlanet configuration launcher), this will considerably reduce the size of the data to download.
