Relay race, where did it go?

I remember some testing of this mode back in the days on a relay race plugin that allowed a team of drivers to switch each round and start a new race instantly. This concept was very fun and promising, but a lot of bugs and faulty starts occured. Does anyone have any idea of its' current state, and perhaps if it's easier to implement in maniaplanet?

I have also heard of this new official game mode Team Attack that Nadeo is working on. Will this be the same concept? If so, probably not such a good idea to waste time in a community driven project with basically the same format.

TeamAttack makes a team of players start at the exactly same time.

So this is not the same.

Relay Race was already running on Maniaplanet. I played it on a stadium dirt server about 1 month ago and couldn´t see any problems. If you search for "relay" here: http://www.maniaviewer.com/index.php?site=search_server, there are still some visible. I don`t know the state after the MP3 update though.

Maverick from JTT Team (http://teamjtt.xooit.fr/) has made a Relay Race race plugin for Xaseco in TM2 Stadium.
It is precisely the plugin which is on these Dirt servers
