Notes on Updating

If you decide to turn off the auto-update of ManiaControl or turn it on after quite some time there might be problems after the update.

Between versions we try to make sure that even bigger changes don't break things.
Though after some time we remove old obsolete or temporary stuff.

If you want to update from an older version I recommend doing that manually.
It's best to delete everything and insert the new files afterwards.
Currently there is no need to replace the config xml ("configs/server.xml") though, so you can keep the configs folder.
