[TM2] Canyon - Poor Performance

I have noticed in the past couple of weeks the performance gradually getting worse... I haven't changed any settings or graphics settings either in game, or via desktop...

originally the game was perfectly smooth, but now it seems to lunge forward every 5-10 seconds, VERY off putting when trying to pull a corner tight etc...

my FPS is fine (Stable 60, got V-Sync on)
ping is <~30
does it in single player too...

i7 860
16GB DDR3
ATI Radeon 7950 3GB
Windows 8

Does the performance getting worse since the ManiaPlanet 3 update or you have noticed this after?
Have you done an update of your graphic card recently ?

Maybe your computer is tired ^^.
Do you maintain regularly your computer ?

I had performance problem when i did mp2 to mp3 update. Then i uninstalled mp3 and did fresh instal of maniaplanet client. Fps jumped up and it is fine now, so you could try that too.

It was fine when MP3 was first released, but has gradually got worse since....

I have reinstalled (i'm using Steam)
I have also checked all drivers are up to date...

my PC is virtually a Fresh install also...
