Everybody wants to see their name going up the ladder, even if they tell themselves "it doesn't mean anything, points are not skills" and other lies (I speak for myself here

Thank you.

This would make it more of leveling up than climbing a ladder. They would have to rework the whole matchmaking system and I feel that Nadeo wouldn't be too happy with thatgursk wrote: I was thinking about "checkpoints" for high ranks, such as: once you reach ech 8.1 (.2 .3 etc...) you can't go below. This being said, people could win less points as they climb the ladder, instead of losing 40LP or more no matter what they do in the match.
With this system there is no point to rank up beyond 70k lp (aka gold echelon). There is not much skill in ranking up, just grinding.fleo wrote:Unranked play = server 70k and below.
Really? You are aware that this system is a grinding system, right? Meaning that you just put in enough time and you reach the top.fleo wrote:Imo this ladder system is quite good, you're about a progression system and not a rank system.
No I am not, at my level (gold I) I win LP when I play well and I lose them otherwise. I believe this ladder system is mainly based on the number of won attacks, the laser hit ratio and the team result of the match (your team won or not). That's why you won't lose points every time you lose a match. Nadeo did this because they think you sometimes deserve LP even if you lose the match because you played well and I agree with that. It allows not to lose points when you played on MM with a lower skilled players than you.sadzealot wrote:Really? You are aware that this system is a grinding system, right?
