14 minutes of waiting time on matchmaking. Too many cancels

The new button "Cancel" is a great idea but now many matchs are cancelled by players.

Tonight i waited 14 minutes and 10 seconds for a match because 6 matchs (maybe more) have been cancelled and sometimes matchmaking didn't invite me to a match (Normal i guess ^^).

I don't know how the suspension system work but it could be great if the suspension time can be set to 2 minutes and 30 second (or more) instead of 1 minute which is the waIting time between matchmaking proccess

Players are abusing with this system, it's quite annoying

We are aware of the abuses on the cancel function. You can check this topic to learn a bit more on what we plan to do on the matchmaking.

The latest dedicated server contains a few improvements on the matchmaking script :
- Players are now penalized as soon as they cancel for the first time.
- One matchmaking round in the lobby last 30 seconds instead of 60 seconds.
- 60 rounds per map instead of 30 in the lobby.
- Canceling a match the first time is now penalized by 90 seconds of ban instead of 60 seconds.
- Each cancel after the first one will increase the penalty by 30 seconds instead of 5.

The next version will have a slightly different penalty system. Each time a player cancel/leave a match he will be penalized by : (90 + number of cancel * duration of the round) seconds. For each map played on the lobby the number of cancel of a player will be reduced by 1.

I've had similar waiting times even without anyone canceling their match. It was on Ubisoft gold. I waited long enough to see six matches made without me getting in to any of those.

The matchmaking lobby needs a limit on how many matches are made before you are forced in to some match even if your rank doesnt quite match the other players.
