Nobody's ever said he doesn't have the right to post his opinions...but he needs to post them in a polite, 'constructive-criticism' style manner. Not launch personal attacks against Hylis, or say that he's wrong even when he's politely pointed out that his opinions are incorrect, and why...

I'm referring to comments like this:
And with that, I'm out - see you in game
elitechris wrote:@FrostBeule, if you have some intelligence, please stop doing this crap and finally shut up
Trackmaniack wrote:Now, go home, and rethink your life, Frost. It'll do us all a favor.
I'm just stopping in - I lurk more than post but I've been a part of this community for a long time and just want to remind everyone that it's ok to disagree without hurling insults.elitechris wrote:And FrostBeule, YOU SHOULD NOT respond to what wrote Trackmaniack. Not even DARE to do that.

Re: The worlds First Tournament in Trackmania 2
Word ionian. Stop getting on a personal and insulting level guys. As you maybe are aware of, Frostbeule backed off in several posts and there is also something like an evidence of an apology and this is enough for me. And it should be enough for the rest here, because we are a friendly community and we should represent this.ionian wrote:Wow guys, seriously? Why make this personal? I don't agree with all of Frostbuele's points but he has a right to raise them - I don't want to use the word fanboyism but please respect other peoples rights to say what they think, stop the rather personal attacks and show some of the Trackmania spirit that has made these games and this community worth being a part of over the past few years.
Sheesh.
At least you can say that he is one of the guys of the eSports community who dares to get in contact with the not eSport community. And this alone is a nice sign to, even if he isn't the same opinion with nadeo. So just lets discuss this matter in a civilized way and then it will work out.

Right. I understand those comments were rude. But at the risk of sounding like saying "He started it", I'm going to say that's exactly what he did. Frost started hurling insults at Florent, and, I must say this unfortunately, Florent responded in kind. As did we all. Maybe it was a bit immature, however, the truth of the matter is, the onus of this lies with Frost.

You quoted us, now quote him, how many times he insulted us, the community and Nadeo (some were personal). Because we weren't assertive, he was doing the same thing. Sometimes we have to push a little to make some things quiet. I think you know that.

No one is interested in how and how many time he insulted someone.elitechris wrote:You quoted us, now quote him, how many times he insulted us, the community and Nadeo (some were personal).
And if there are additional, constructive things to be said, they can be said, and Frostbeule can say them too. Why do you want to forbid Frostbeule to talk? Because he insulted other people? Then tell him not to insult, but not not to talk.
He was in the corner from the very first post. And you - the people who told him to stop talking and were getting on a personal level as well - are just abusing the fact that you aren't in the corner.Trackmaniack wrote:Is it because you realize you talked yourself into a corner? Because that's -exactly- what you've done.

Guys, this is getting too much frustrating. Can we just stop fighting? We all are still talking about the same thing because of "A guy who was complaining about eSports in TM2". This is getting sick. Now when the debate is practically done, there has become an anti-insulting opposition, instead of being a community. What's going on here?!

Nice! I can´t remember seing any tournament except for TMN(F) with money involved, at least not at a big event like Dreamhack.
Would be fun if the topplayers of TMU showed up at Dreamhack...(CMC, Raven, XR to name a few teams with great players..)
