I did everything as it is described, but I can't find the sticker in the car-paint-mode!

Yes, I think I did something wrong with the icon. The sticker will work, but it will show up black in the selection bar.
Just click the black stickers until you find the right one. Sorry about that.

BTW... You should put the the sticker.tga and icon.dds together in a map. Just like the stickers already present, but I think you already got that. The sticker probably just shows up as totally black in the selection, but it will work once selected.
