How could it be 2011, the Ubisoft conference hasn't even begun.

It says "backstage" so yeah, it should be 2011.

Btw, wiid, how did you get the record of the interview?! You recorded it?

He's holding pictures of Valley, not Canyon. They've either restarted development on Valley (which they previously halted) or the backstage video is from 2010. I think the latter is more likely.

Must be a late upload or a reupload (someone else recording) from E3. I have to say E3 being an exclusive media event, the crowd look more like fans than actual media staff.

Light Bounce:
Light Bounce

Translation:
Light Bounce is something where Ubisoft is proud off. If light falls on a yellow or green wall de reflection is bounced back to the ground very light. To render this it will cost normally a full day. The game however does this in 20 seconds. Florent did a demonstration. First he made in a recordtempo a circuit(What became easy due to the new Track editor) and drove over his own circuit. The red paint dodged nicely off the side walls.
This might mean a new rendering engine for light which was never mentioned on this forum so clearly.

I haven't ever seen this place, but we should recognise it soon.

At least we know something about Hylis's (Florent's) demonstration tommorow.

ESWC 2010 at Disney Land in Paris -> Valley photos

this video has been uploaded since a year now I found it on a unknown site, I even forgot it , where I have it from.

This week I was searching for sneak previews, who no one knows, but then I found this video on like page 100 of google :D, I reuploaded it in better quality because it was 640x480 no hd, so my Adobe Premiere rendering was pretty good I think :D
