Game Crash After Update

Post by zett »

Yes yes, I know... just another one.

After a shorter break from playing I (had to) installed the latest Maniaplanet update. Bad.
Result: Game crashes after changing the maps (Error Log see below).

My system:
Intel E8500 3.0GHz
2 GB RAM
Windows XP Home SP 3 (that could cause the problem)
Graphic card: ATI HD 5700 (1031 MB) + latest driver update (9.0.100.1800)

Maniaplanet setup: High Resolution, Very Fast, no Antialiasing, filter Anisotrophic.
No faults with my graphic card so far (I ran enough tests to prove that), other games still work fine.

Since there wasn't any help to fix the game crash problem with the map editor(I still can't build maps for about 8 months in Canyon) I think I have to say now: Bye bye Maniaplanet, deinstalling this piece of crap and returning to the still working Nations. If this is simply an issue with XP, my bad.

Error Log:

you copied the content of UGCErrorsLog.txt, which is not the same as a crashlog.
Please provide a real crashlog, usually stored with filename like ManiaPlanetLog*.txt or look if you find a folder LogCrash.

After some tests the crash went to be the same like this: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 64&t=24723

I simply reinstalled the game yesterday + putting the newest ATI driver in again and it's running ok (right now). Let's hope for the best  A new system would be the answer for me at least 8-)
