Screw those disappointed jerks!

Well done NADEO!!!

Oh you guys, stop complaining about how short the trailer was. Even if it was, wasn't it cool anyways? You all just might be expecting too much.
Anyways, I thought it was cool, nothing mindblowing though, we already have that.

Re: TM2 @ E3
We're not disappointed in the footage. The disappointment is that this was the biggest chance to really say "USA, THIS is TrackMania!"... and I think the original trailer we saw would have grabbed the audience more than what we saw.haenry wrote: I really don't know why there are so many disappointed people in here. They showed us a cool new trailer with some a scene from the editor (no HUD). I am really happy about what they showed to us
Also you don't have to forget, that is was only to announce the game a bit. To say "hello, I am here!"![]()
What we saw was fantastic, but this intro time they had on stage was to Wow the rest of the USA into wanting the game... not appeasing the existing fans. The footage was wonderful for existing fans, but I think there could have been a more grabbing demo for the rest of the USA that needed to be introduced to the game.
I hope it was enough to get the press excited enough about it to start covering it in the USA gaming media.
And hopefully Ubi will give NADEO more time next time so it's not overshadowed by the other games.

You can upload a video and make it public one month later, if you like. It was probably made public just after the Ubisoft presser.djkueken wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUQ-AZXhUTc

+1. You hit the nail on the head as far as how I felt when watching the presentation. Maybe they did the best they could with the time they were allotted. But I really hoped for more.fng_thatoneguy wrote:We're not disappointed in the footage. But I also recognize that this presentation was basically welcoming the attendees and giving them a sneak peak of what is going to be at the various booths. We're not there at E3, so this is all we see... so sometimes it's hard to understand that this is just a small snippet of what the attendees will be seeing of Canyon. They'll get a much closer look and the chance to get really excited about it when they visit the booth.... I hope.

The new trailer itself is very cool and really highlights the media sharing aspect of maniaplanet. The engine sounds are really interesting, much cooler than anything in TM1. I can't wait!

Re: TM2 @ E3
Agreed, my friend!
I downloaded the 1080p version of the video from the Ubisoft E3 Assets page and wet my pants again... the footage is stunning and amazing. The engine sounds are wicked awesome; especially when the red car is drifting past the other two on That One Curve.
I've been looking around tonight on Google and trying to find people talking about the Ubi presentation today and most everything I've read on TrackMania 2 Canyon has been positive; so I'm very encouraged.
Best of luck, NADEO! I sooooo can't wait to play TrackMania 2 Canyon!
BTW, the screenshots from the Ubisoft E3 Assets page are freakin' awesome too. Check them if you haven't yet.

The engine sound was pretty awesome
But the most impressive thing for me was the part of the Edito rat the beginning where you can see the chicane before the start with the craning roofs over it, which simply looks so stunning.

Hi everyone!
thanks for the support! It is a lot of fun to be here, and its hard to find time to come online and read all your comments.
Glad the video is appreciated and I would like to thank Sprint for the hardwork he did put on this one. A very tight deadline and not much time for polishing, but well, I believe the video is great and has a very unique feeling. Adrienne and Anne also did an excellent job on stage, so all in all it was a very good conference!
As some have mentioned, the video is short, and the speech as well, for basic time constraints. I hope we didn't disappoint, and this is beyond our control. Ubisoft, Microsoft etc. all have a very limited time to present many games. It is impossible to allocate much time to each. We wish we could have had more time, but so would have said other games. Being at E3 already shows the quality of the game! (and dont worry about ingame camera footage, you'll see some when its time for that!)
