I can just agree with the statements from the other guys. If you have to use the arrow as a rocket, its completely destroyed.. its nearly impossible to hit the opponent, except you get a lucky shot and everytime someone hits another one with arrow the reaction is "WHOA, i got a hit with arrow, AMAZING".
In my opinion the old version is way better and that should be changed :/

the goal is to make this weapon a long range one: increase blow radius at long range and reduce in short range (this is not a rocket)

however, if we would like to compensate on it's power, we made a +50% reload speed.

now, maybe the reload is still too slow, but I am more looking at a "rain of arrows" than "shotgun bomb" effect.

maybe other weapons can bring the latest during Power Up! but I think we went from arrow to be a little too over powered to something that is maybe not enough.

All combo players are here to tell you that they want the old arrow radius, but you won't change it back ? The arrow radius wasn't overpowered, the combo goal is that we have different weapons, the rail for long shot, the nuc for shooting near, and the arrow which is between the two. We can make long shot, and near shots, so what change it for only long shot ? Cause maybe you will tell us that it's also for near shots , BUT NO ! If you are close the opponent, you CAN'T touch him, because with the arrow, you don't aim precisely, because the crosshair isn't made for it. So please, show us that you listen the combo community (which didn't asked you to change it), and change it back, because the combo servers run with the old arrow version, so your is useless, and you haven't got a matchmaking running with it, so nobody plays with. With that, you are killing combo...
So please... :(

I can understand that goal for gamemodes like Siege for example that have these huges maps (although I'm not sure about that idea of having to spam the weapon, which was already blamed before), but this doesn't work at all in Combo, that has very closed maps, it's always been used there as some kind of grenade launcher, or as you call it "shotgun bomb", and it worked very nicely, it might have been a little overpowered in the past but it was great after the MP3 update that considerably lowered the nucleus and arrow radiuses (maybe even a little too much, as it brought some weird situations where there was no hit registered, but it was ok still).

Now you saw that screenshot in page 2, in Combo, it has become completely useless as there are really few spots to shoot an arrow from a great distance in those closed maps (and still, the one from the screenshot, is quite open compared to the others from the mappack), moreover, if you need to spam it, you need more ammos, and in combo it's one ammo every 45 seconds only, so it's already rare to reach 3 arrows in a round, if we need 5 or 6 for it to be useful, it ruins the concept.

Again, I'm not saying it's a bad idea in general, it just doesn't work for Combo, so maybe as suggested by someone earlier, the best thing to do would be like it was possible a year ago with the Beta2/Beta3 in Elite, to have a setting in the server config that can be set to have the slower reload/constant radius arrow?

And combo's maps aren't large maps, so you can't use the increase radius...

There are four basic weapons at the moment and the destiny of the arrow is to be long range. If combo (that I made) makes no use of it, then it means that it should use another weapon. And this another weapon is then likely to be easily made during Power Up! There is a limit to what we can manage in term of diversity of options without having a strong structure to do it. And Power Up! is about this. And btw, it stared with the comment that the arrow was OP in arena duel (which has closed space) So, it's somehow to support the players, please avoid to think that we are evil :mrgreen:

Combo will have to be host by players one day, with the script managed by themselves if they would like it to be as much improved as their desire. Until it becomes popular, it will be free thanks to the universal setup / demo scheme. So, once it's done, I expect that you will everything you wish to be happy :thx:
