Something is definitely wrong here.

Set your video card driver properly. Eventually delete the profile for ManiaPlanet there and create it again.
Also check the Intel HD driver settings.

Make sure Windows is actually using the nVidia chipset before launching ManiaPlanet.

Launch ManiaPlanet with Administrator priviledges and with Windows XP SP3 compatibility settings.
Then go to the configuration.

It worked! Thank you! But, on the downside, my fps dropped from about 50 to 20.

Delete again Default.SystemConfig.Gbx file. And do not select highest possible settings, but let the game chose automatically
