Re: Maniaplanet 3.1 RC6
I remade my avatar. Now it looks better, than .bik file.
For maps with "black" signs - now it depends only by the map-builders.

Re: Maniaplanet 3.1 RC6

Re: Maniaplanet 3.1 RC6
have almost all of my bik files of signs and avatars converted to webm. about 50% of the files also work. manialink my shop I have also rewritten and the. bik in the script in. webm rewritten. will all appear on the manialink. Unfortunately I get if I want to download the new files an error.
Manialik not found:
Mania Code Script Error: Invalid file name
I am sure that I made no error when rewriting since I had to change only at a position in the script.
has anyone worann it could be a solution proposal or prophesying?

Re: Maniaplanet 3.1 RC6
It is horribly annoying to login and be stuck on "Please wait..." for 1 minute+. I can't even alt-tab out until it feels like hitting the login screen.
This is the entire premise as to why I have the "Disable Scan Cache" setting checked. Without it checked the game freezes for it's scan on exit. Specifically, on hitting quit, the game immediately goes into scan mode which typically disallows the following alt-tab. With Disable Scan Cache it moves the scan to take place during start up. The main difference is that I can immediately alt-tab out during the log-in window, which doesn't prohibit the alt-tab because the scan doesn't start until after the log-in window, so it's not sucking CPU resources to the point of delaying the input. (And it doesn't scan on exit so when I hit quit the game actually quits instead of scanning for 2-5 minutes while being unresponsive.)
Now with whatever it's doing, the game starts to scan before the login screen and it takes enough resources that an alt-tab doesn't work.
There is nothing more annoying than a program that sits there for a period of time, unresponsive, and disallowing other commands such as alt-tab.
Solution: (Atleast for me) Move the Please Wait scan (whatever it's doing), to after the login window. That way I can alt-tab and do other things why Maniaplanet is busy doing whatever scans it wants to.
Also, why is it necessary for it to scan absolute everything in your files every day you play? I mean, many of us have thousands of replay, hundreds of skins, multiple title packs, and a saved collection of maps. It can take a long freekin time for it to scan everything.
Suffice to say, it's not contributing to the enjoyment of the ManiaPlanet system.

Re: Maniaplanet 3.1 RC6
There is a solution for all-tab. In your basic options, change full-screen mode by full-screen windowed. Then you'll be able to alt-tab when you want.
