Hello, New to the game, and LOVE this game. Question on new tracks.

1.Can you Make your own maps make them a Medal type event???

2. I have seen and starting to figure out how to play new Title packs, Question is can you play any of them in single mode???

I play more solo than anything. At the same time, be fun to have more solo maps with timers, or something of that nature.

Last question, I do have the free version of Track Mania Nations forever, I am giving serious thought to getting The nations forever star edition, I just can not find out what the difference is between the two???

1.Can you Make your own maps make them a Medal type event???

You can create your own tracks, of course, in the game, select Editor, then new track.
To be able to validate the track, you need to place a start, at least one checkpoint, a goal, and connect them using different suitable blocks.
Then you can set the map goals, which is a gradation of times as reference for the different medals.
For solo campaigns medals to be shown as opponents, you need to create so called ghosts using the replay function.

Later you can look in the forum here, e.g. in the FAQ, or useful links, and of course ask more questions.

Some title packs are for multiplayer only, and then they do not contain solo tracks.
Some titles you have to enter, and there you might see if there is option for solo or multiplayer.
Could you please tell one title where you have this question`?
Plese keep in mind that with demo version, time for gameplay is limited, and also access to resources is limited.

The star edition contains an additional solo campaign with more tracks.
But if you like the game that much, you should consider to purchase TrackMania United Forever. This contains a lot more. But it is older compared to the ManiaPlanet game versions.

I may of mistyped the last message. The next game I am looking at is "Track Mania United Forever Star edition". Is that the one to buy or is "track mania united forever" the one to get??? I ask because The star edition is on steam, and That is the way I buy my games.

I am not sure the difference between Just forever, and forever star edition. Had no clue I could make my own tracks with medals. Now I will have to try that, that looks fun. I do know Star Edition is 30 bucks, which is fine and I can afford no problem.

I have Track Mania 2 all three of them. Wish I would of known how much I LOVED this game, I would of bought the bundle.

Just hope they get the steam Issue fixed so you can switch between games without having to shut it down.

TMU Forever and TMU Forever Star Edition are essentially the same; the difference is that Star Edition is the last update for Forever, at 1.26.

You could install the standalone version from https://player.maniaplanet.com/ which does not have this problem just log in with your existing account (no need to purchase something again).

Like Machre113 already said TMU Forever Star Edition is the latest update to TMU Forever actually TMU Forever is a update to TMU TMU was the main game, Forever and Star Edition are free content updates for it.

TM Nations is the version with only stadium.

Can't tell you guys and gals how much I appreciate all this great information. Had NO clue I could do allot of this stuff. That stand alone is something I am forsure gonna get now that I know all I have to do is log into my account and not have to break out the credit card again.

I did play with the track editor. Just not a fan of it. To lazy and or stupid to make the kind of tracks you guys have the talent for making. I do wonder, can you take a track that is already made, and turn it into a timed event??

Of course modifying someone else's hard work would be for my own enjoyment.

Every map played in "Local Play" has medals. No need to add a ghost if its validated it has medal times

there you can find nearly a millions of tracks in total, download them, copy them into your "Tracks\Downloaded" folder of the games, and run them using "local play", load map.
Check for best rated maps.
