A newbie's thoughts..........

I found concentrating on just one version at a time of track mania to be the most fun. I found Canyon, Stadium and Valley to be really different from each other. Seems to me the cars in each version simply handle just a bit different.

I have all the track mania's. All of them are Just a blast. Just trying to jump from valley, to stadium as a noobie can be a bit hard. So for now, I am playing and racing Stadium, I will work on that and get good at it, then move on to the next one, and HOPE I dont forget how to race the Cars In Stadium.

I have decided to be Lazy and Race other people's tracks just for something different. The tracks these guys make are Just amazing.

I love the simplicity of the game. I just wanna race, Not worry about upgrading this or that, Worry about what tires to use on which track.

While I will mostly troll this forum, and learn new things, Its nice to know if I do get stuck or need a bit of help, The guys and gals here are SUPER great at helping. I am a guy, and reading instructions on how to play a game is not my strong point. I just try to figure it out as I go........

Welcome to stadium! And don`t miss the manifold possibilities you all have there (Tech, Fullspeed, Dirt, RPG, Nascar/F1/LOL/... or all mixed ). It`s like having even more games inside one. HF!

Thanks for the Reply. Learning more and more about it. Just taking it one section at a time, playing each track til I hit silver. Then move on to the next. After or IF i get all them done in silver, then I will go back and play for gold.

Not near good enough to play blue yet, but in time, maybe, But you are so right. This thing is like having Many racing games in one.

Its kinda killed my desire of other racing games. They seem to slow. To complicated. This thing just FLY'S and its pretty simple. Still have tricks to learn, but got the jump landing down, now I just gotta figure out how to drift. I will work on that one. Then MAYBE try user made tracks.

Nice thing is, if there is a track you simply dont like, there are TONS of other ones to play. Maybe someday trackmania will get into motorcycle's or boats or something. That would be a hoot.

Best thing is its so open to mods, so who knows what bright person is gonna come up with a mod that will just blow us all away.
