I did ... There are hundreds ways of earning money in gamesTrackmaniack wrote:Stick with nations then. Think before you post next time...kthxbai.

And no doubt i will stay in tmnf because that is the right game for progaming.
Re: The worlds First Tournament in Trackmania 2
Progaming is such a lousy term, just call it eSports please.hakkiJunior wrote:I have read somewhere that here has fb with florent a freestyle about going of TMnF/TM2.So, I have created the acc just to write my opinion.
I am really angry, what is happening here with my favourite game and i mean Trackmania. The first two games TMO and TMS were made like other. Then, the TMnF was created to support racing games in progaming.
What do you except Florent will happen ?
The TM2 will become next Progaming game ? I must to disappoint you Florent, TM2 wont be. You can see it on the TMuF. Why this is not the progaming game but tmnf is ? Because there is one env, it WAS free and it has good kind of steering.
I am not telling TM2 will suck. The game is really beatiful i will try it, but when i firstly heard about the paying for everything in the game, I imagined the last series of NFS. Cool game, but for how long ? 1-2 weeks ? WE DONT WANT to see every next year new TM because developers look for money as we can see in the NFS or CoD. The future of trackmania is free access to play tourmanets, what offers tmnf. NO. It offered ! The best would be to launch again all servers free in TmnF, and you can earn money on advertisemet around the game, if it is direct in the game or whatever.
Many good players ended with tmn and why ? because they liked the game for its free access to play. Next, lot of my known are asking me lately what has happened with tmnf. Do you think, this is the right solution to grow up our community ?
You should do what COMMUNITY (mainly TMnF, because players who play tmnf are interested in progaming) wants not what want you.
I never create accs on the websites to put one comment, but this is big mistake what you are doing and i want to show you it.
PS: this is just "the fast" comment, i just wrote what i was thinking about.
And no, we wont miss you in TM2. Have a good day.

If you just add to the discussion to bash/flame at other peoples opinions, then just say nothing at all.
People are allowed to have a different opinion, and although i'm not agreeing at all with hakki, he explains himself.
At a rather unpleasant tone, but still, no need to bash him.

I'm not attacking you, Knutsel, but he's not flaming? Really?
He basically said that Hylis was money-grubbing scum for making a game with a pricetag, and that he should bow to the wishes of the TMNF players. Now, I don't have anything against TMN players, or NF players, however, and this is a general question, do you really think that the majority of them are in it for the eSport aspect of it? No. They're in it cuz it's free. Pure and simple. Now there's nothing wrong with that--and I'm sure TM2 would get all 6 billion people on the planet playing it if it was free--but even with 6 billion copies sold, if they're free copies, how does Nadeo make one cent off of that? Again, they can't. So, I, and the other responders who took him down a peg were simply pointing out the--misguided opinion of his post. Especially since he said that he created this account here for the sole purpose of posting what he did.

Re: The worlds First Tournament in Trackmania 2
i can understand the discussion about the driving style, enviroments etc (about esports).
But personally i don't think the price can be considered a problem as others can be.
I mean, expecting a game like this to be completly free... is not realistic to me. And anyway there are a lot of esport games (i'd say the main part) that are not free.
peace.

Well, there is not much of healthy discussion neither in quoting someone and just sayingTrackmaniack wrote:I'm not attacking you, Knutsel, but he's not flaming? Really?
I decided to be a bit more severe as usual in this topic, because i don't want to get out of hand again.Makikou wrote:And no, we wont miss you in TM2. Have a good day.
Nothing personal, just cautious.
