Medalghosteditor does not work with large objects

If a build a Track with more then 150kB for external objects the Ghost editor does not work. I got the Errormessage that the objects are not there.

But i build the Track and the Items are there. If i take one Object out from the Track so i come under 150 kB the Track works with the Medalghosteditor pretty well.

The limit was recently raised from 50k to 150k (see also changelog)
How come you're already breaking it :lol:
Are you sure you need that much? ;)

If you can read French, there was a explanation from PapyChampy a few days ago here:

I know that the limit is set on 150 kB

I dont have a problem with the limit. I have a Problem that a finished Track with more Objects runs in a Titlepack if i put the great Object into the Pack manuell. But i cant make the Medalghost for the Track.

Sorry but french is not my. :oops:

The weight of each object is still restricted because there are no custom textures on those objects.

I was not able to do tests myself with the embedded items, but it should be around 5/10 additional unique ojects more in a map before the 150kB barrier is exceeded. This also depends of the complexity of the object and of its geometry, since a object that is heavier in vertices weights more.

So i found a way where i can build Tracks with great Objekts for my Pack and drive Medalghosts too. :yes:

That right but if i put the Objekt into a Titlepack and build the Track then after a Update of the Pack there is no limit more. You can activated the experimental Item-Embbeded but you dont get a warning message. If the Track is ready i can drive the Medalghosts and put the Replay and the Track into the Pack. After a update of the Pack you can drive the Track with Medalghost in the Solocampaign.
For the future if i load this Track up to MX i give a message that the Track only runs in Offlinemode of the Titlepack. And the Track runs only on a Server if he start with the Pack.
