Bought dedicated servers by accident

Post by neonxxs »

Hello.

What I wanna know is, if I can get a refund of 7500 planets I accidentaly bought 5 dedicated servers with (**** I'm stupid  ). Is there a way you could take the servers away from me and return the 7500 planets, that I really need?
Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
neonxxs

Hi neonxxs
You can log into your Player Page and simply delete your ladder servers:
https://player.maniaplanet.com/dedicate ... rs/ladder/

Planets are then automatically returned to your player login account.

Cheers. :pil

The problem is, I only purchased the server slots and didn't actually pay for the server. So I can't find the server list under ladder. :(

There is no option to roll that back, since it is a buy not a deposit like on the ladderservers.

What weerwolf said, yes. That's a different story and the planets have 'gone'. :pil

I think we might be misunderstanding you here: Did you use Planets to upgrade some dedicated servers via your Player Page or did you pay a host provider for a TM server, using Planets instead of money?

If you paid a host for your servers (with a certain number of player slots), then cancelled your accounts/ cancelled your server/s, then all you can do is ask nicely if you can have some Planets back. You say you used Planets to buy slots - I think that means you bought a server from a host provider. If that's the case, you need to talk to them.

If you used Planets via your Player Page to upgrade (Ladder) servers, then my post above should help you get them back. Even if you can't see the servers in the ladder, they will still be in the list on your Player Page.

BUT !!! If you actually paid a provider, the chances are your server/s had login accounts owned by them, not you. This probably means the Planets are held in their player account, not yours. So, if that's the case, I think you've given your Planets away.

Cheers. :pil
