It's a little difficult to explain as if TrackMania continues to be based on an arcade-feeling, but of course the environnments (excluding the cars and their own physics) are realistic in graphics term, while giving a representative approach of a real environment.ManiaDesign wrote:It is very important to me anyway, that Trackmania is realistic and remains realistic! You mean in graphics because the way the car drives and how it can do loops and stuff is totally not realisticManiaDesign wrote:It is very important to me anyway, that Trackmania is realistic and remains realistic! Valley is very realistic!

Yah, my biggest wish to have some major tweaks down.. I was having a convo with some guy at a server, and laughing how we've seen the quake series have better graphics for what we play at and with quadruple the fps, wonder whats hogging all those fps, for me, for instance, a short link to all titles, skipping the profile check, straight to storm, make the planet home static and remove all the clouds in storm, that would be a ace of a game to start up and maybe knock off some fps there..

Want to talk about popularity for new gamers and transition players from TM/TMU, well what do you expect, a massive code engine that hogs cpu power, and runs on a system hardly only a rich kid can afford, or takes years to buy a decent card, including the board, the ram, cpu to build your own. Not an attractive feature.
for FPS
