Disappearing valley object when placed on booster[confirmed]

Post by pjw »

I'm working on a track and noticed that when you place the default valley ramp object on a booster, it initially seems to work fine.

It works in the editor:

...and works fine in-game when you test or validate the map.

But when you look at the replay, it's gone, and the car is driving over nothing:

When you save the track, and then re-open it in the editor, the object is gone from the track as well:

The object isn't there when you load the track and try to drive it like normal either. Which basically makes it possible to validate a track that no one else will ever be able to finish. :(

Known issue? Possible fixes?

Re: Bug? Disappearing valley object when placed on booster?

Thanks for the report. This bug will be solved in next update.

Before you get this update, you can use this workaround: try to place your items outside squares which contain clips! In your example, the bug is not caused by the booster but by the black clip in the square above.
Another thing which may help you with this bug: when you load the map, the item has not disappeared, but it has been moved to the South-East corner of the map (so you should delete theese misplaced items)!
