I don't think QM will be released just after SM: Storm, this is the less advanced game, so maybe we will get a second environment for TM2 before.
And I'm not sure that Valley will have the same look as we can see in this video, which is 2 years old...

Hmm, you may have a good point there. But for the record, just because we Americans are exposed more to American Canyon type sceneries, doesn't mean we prefer them over European landscape ones. :D I think it's really close though, but I give the edge to Valley for now. Maybe that'll change :)

Yeah, it could certainly change. No doubt it'll improve to look even better by the time it's released.

By the way, i have a question regarding Canyon....do any of you know if the game will have houses or buildings in the map using the editor?

I'm a speedfreak, so I'm glad they're releasing Canyon 1st...but I won't dis Valley--it looks to be a lot of fun. Anybody else in here think that TM2 is a TM1 reboot of sorts? The first envi is Canyon, followed by Valley--and the first envi of SM was to be Cryo--do you think they moved that over to TM2 to make SM Storm?

even I don't understand your question Trackmaniack, I have a simple explaniation why Cryo was moved to Storm.

I don't want to search for it now, but Hylis talked about a script/system where you can transfer your Tm2 map to an Storm map. So when Valley -> Canyon this system didn't worked anymore so Cryo-> Storm.

How this system works with transferring a map ( I can't really imagine that) does nobody know ( except of Nadeo), because there were no more information about it.

What worries me a little bit is that Canyon is again a desertic environment. There are that much diverse landscapes on the American continent, that it seems a pity to reduce them at a single desert.

Nadeo seems also willing to restart with (North) American, European and Asian environments. Where are South America, Africa, Middle East and Oceania? Maybe we have some of them if they build more than 3 environments for TM². (Hylis told about between 3 and 5... 5 environments for 5 continents could be great...).

I don't know, but if they're implemented by Nadeo, i believe they should be the last blocks designed (not much beta-testing and accurate compliance with the gameplay needed for them).

But if the user created blocs feature is implemented, the community may create them by itself. It makes sense in my opinion: landscapes blocks do not need as much rigour as road blocks in conception (think about bugs, connexions with other blocks, etc).

I really can't wait till I finally have Canyon right here. But apart from that I'm also very curious about Valley :)

I'm saying that TM2 is going to use similar environments to TM1, but with a graphical, gameplay, and technical update, WiiD. Canyon=Desert. Valley=Rally. Cryo=Snow? I know Cryo was originally intended to be an SM environment, but they cancelled/postponed it to make Storm...I'm saying is it possible that they moved Cryo over to be a TM2 envi? Just speculation...

I don't remember seeing that, it seems strange imo
