Anyone experienced something like this (http://www11.pic-upload.de/07.10.14/tmxziu6ooqm5.jpg) yet? Grafic-settings are at max, tried to Change all Settings available concerning the water - nothing changed.
PC-Specs:
Win7 Prof. 64Bit SP1
Intel i5 1,30GHz
8GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 5000 2GB
Any ideas? Hope I'm in the right forum here.
Thanks in advance!
Water won't render / Texture fail?
Re: Water won't render / Texture fail?
Something looks weird indeed, the grid structure is not normal.
Propably not enough memory was assigned to the video card, and if the texture memory is full, either older textures are overwritten, or new/ additional textures are not displayed at all.
And are you sure your i5 has only 1.3GHz? looks much too slow.
I guess it is a laptop. Try again with power supply connected.
Also make sure the video driver can use more memory.

Hello Marc,
thanks for your reply.
You're right, it's an laptop; a MacBook to be specific, which leads to the following problem:
As far as I know the only possibility to change the memory assigned to a video card, is via the BIOS, isn't it? Since Mac uses EFI there's no way for me to enter that (correct me if I'm wrong).
Is there any way to check what the current settings concerning the currently assigned memory are? I checked the DirectX-dialog, but due to my lack of proper PC-knowledge I can't tell. Maybe it's not even the right place to look...
Connecting the laptop to the power-supply didn't help, neither did rebooting nor reinstalling the game.
Thanks for your afford!
/edit: Yes I'm sure it's just 1,3GHz.
