something has definitely changed, or you wouldn't have that issue.
Probably there was a Windows update of the nVidia drivers or something else then.
Could you please use the debug version (see my signature) and upload & link a logfile for us?

Sure, here's the logfile http://pastebin.com/HJAbF6giTMarc wrote:something has definitely changed, or you wouldn't have that issue.

I opened the game, started a new map, placed a few objects, and tried to compute shadows.
Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
Thanks.
I found this in the log:
But your card, GTX580, with >1G RAM, is certainly good enough.
We have to see if the devs have an idea

Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
I'd like to add a little bit more information to my issue.
1. I see this in the log created by maniaplanet_logs:
Implying that my driver version is 5.2.21555.0. TMUF also tells me that my driver version is 5.2.21555.0. This is most definitely not the case, as control panel tells me I have driver version 9.18.13.4448.
2. While having this problem, there was another driver update which I had hoped would fix my issue, it did not.
So at this point, I can say that this is definitely a driver problem, but I don't know if it's Nadeo's problem to fix (for reading my video driver version incorrectly), or Nvidia's (for providing a "bad" driver.)

Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
after a quick google search, dlumd32.dll is "DisplayLink User Mode Driver", and DisplayLink is something about connecting displays vis USB... do you have your display connected via USB? ^^

Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
No I don't. I don't think that could cause this kind of problem, anyway, but thanks for the info.Omnixor wrote:after a quick google search, dlumd32.dll is "DisplayLink User Mode Driver", and DisplayLink is something about connecting displays vis USB... do you have your display connected via USB? ^^
Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
Were you using any beta driver of nVidia recently or in past times?
Please check if you can disable / uninstall this "DisplayLink" driver.
Try a reinstallation of a new and WHQL nVida driver, with a proper uninstaller that really removes everything from nVidia.
What monitor exactly do you have, and how is it connected to your PC?
VGA? HDMI? DisplayPort?

Re: Strange graphical bug (Trackmania2)
Uninstalling the displaylink driver did the trick, interestingly enough. I'm surprised that this driver was interfering with my actual display driver... It was a program that I installed while testing an old projector I found. Anyway, thanks for all the help!TMarc wrote:Were you using any beta driver of nVidia recently or in past times?
